Summary:
Per policy, the Long-Range Planning Advisory Committee (LRPAC) is formed to "inform and advise the Superintendent and School Board in the development of comprehensive, long-term plans for facilities needs in the most effective and efficient way and in support of the School Division’s Strategic Plan." As endorsed by the School Board at the April 26th meeting, the LRPAC will not be preparing a full final report this summer as it has done in the past since this an amendment year in the overall CIP development process. Absent of a full report, the LRPAC would like to advise the Superintendent and School Board on one time sensitive item. The committee have produced a memo (see enclosure) to provide an update and seek further guidance on the capacity issues at Baker-Butler Elementary.
