Investing in Innovations Grant 8-9-18.pdf
Summary
:
The Investing in Innovation program is a natural progression from the growing emphasis in education on the “maker curriculum” in elementary, middle and high schools. This approach emphasizes project-based learning in which students develop their creativity and critical analysis skills as well as their ability to work in teams and communicate their findings. There is a fund balance of $532,298.53 retained by the federal government and a local fund balance of $52,000 from FY 17-18 that may be used. This agenda is to re-appropriate available funds for use in FY18-19. These are federal and local funds. The funds will be received and disbursed as attached.

As presented.
Recommendation
