Summary:
|
Albemarle Tech has selected an approximately 42,200 SF space at the Seminole Place facility located at 1180 Seminole Trail. The space will be used for a student center, LEAD and Child Nutrition offices, and a professional development training space.
Because the leased portion Seminole Place is being proposed for a public use, ACPS was required to submit an Application for Comprehensive Plan Compliance to Community Development (2232 review process). The project was presented at the Community Advisory Committee for Places29 Hydraulic on April 16th. The 2232 review will be presented to the Planning Commission on May 8th.
Upon execution of the lease, the Landlord will begin construction to fit out the leased space per the ACPS conceptual design.
The attached version is still being updated, and any changes in the final version will be highlighted.

The lease funding is pending FY19 budget approval. Lease terms are included in the attachment.
