Summary: Please find attached a summary of all cash donations, miscellaneous revenue and property donated to the Albemarle County Public Schools through the 3rd quarter of the 2017-18 fiscal year. The back-up is also provided for all donations, miscellaneous revenue and property received.

On July 11, 2012, the Board of Supervisors approved a streamlined appropriation process for anticipated School Fund revenue associated with miscellaneous grants, donations, and School Activity Funds. In accordance with this process, an appropriation of $200,000.00 was needed to cover donations and other miscellaneous revenue received by the School Division to date and for anticipated contributions through the end of FY18. Funds will not be expended until the revenues are actually received.
Funding: Of the $266,243.00 that was appropriated for donations and miscellaneous revenues, $263,322.96 has been accepted through the third quarter of the fiscal year.

On June 6, 2018, the Board of Supervisors appropriated an additional $200,000.00 for donations and miscellaneous appropriations. Funds will not be expended until the revenues are actually received.
Recommendation: Please accept all donations, property donations and miscellaneous revenue as property of the Albemarle County Public Schools.
