Summary:

|
Albemarle County Public Schools is designing a new high school center on the Lambs Lane Campus. High School Center II is planned to serve 400 students per day at a size of approximately 60,000 SF. The project will also comply with School Board policy FEBCA.
The schematic design was approved by the School Board on January 25, 2024. The Design Committee has continued to further refine the plans to align with Division goals, which has included significant input from students, teachers, families, and other key stakeholders.
Staff and Quinn Evans will present the design development plans for High School Center II. |

Funding:

|
The funds for A/E Professional Services were included in the FY24 Capital Improvements Program. Construction funding is included in FY25. |
|

|
Recommendation
|
|
It is recommended that the design development documents are received for information. Approval to proceed to the construction document phase will be requested at the May 23 School Board meeting. |
