Summary
:
The Carl Perkins Grant provides funds to increase focus on the academic achievement of career and technical education students and strengthen the connection between secondary and postsecondary education. There has been an increase in funding for FY 18-19. This agenda item requests appropriation of additional funds to cover this increase for use in FY 18-19. These are federal funds.
