Summary:
|
The purpose of the Work Session is to gather input from the School Board to further the development of the Fiscal Year 2022/23 Funding Request, which will incorporate FY 2021/22 mid-year revisions.
On December 1, the Board of Supervisors approved amending the FY 2021/22 budget to incorporate an updated revenue projection and allocating it to County government, school operations, and capital and debt service based on the shared allocation of local tax revenues. The revenue update totals $20.3M in local, state, and transfer revenues, of which ACPS will receive $10.3M by formula. Staff will provide preliminary recommendations for the use of these funds.
The Work Session will focus on compensation strategies to ensure alignment with the Strategic Plan and its success measures. Preliminary recommendations will be made to address workforce stabilization efforts both in the short and long-term. |
