The first of the four principles of the Anti-Racism Policy directs staff to establish and sustain a school community that shares the collective responsibility to address, eliminate, and prevent actions, decisions, and outcomes that result from and perpetuate racism. A division-wide steering committee composed of staff members from schools, departments, and division leadership was established to oversee the implementation of the policy. They are tasked with carrying out the 17 regulations. This report will update the implementation status and offer recommendations for moving forward. |
