Summary:

| The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is in the process of acquiring rights of way for the repair and maintenance of the bridge on Route 708 near Walton Middle School. A portion of ACPS property is needed for a realignment of utilities (CenturyLink and Dominion) adjacent to the bridge. The easements include a VDOT perpetual easement, temporary construction easement, and permanent utility easements for CenturyLink and Dominion. The easement areas are at the edge of the property and do not impact school operations. |
